In December as Christmas was approaching an Investment Advisor was stressed out. The thought of sending the clients Christmas cards was burdensome because he didn't have the time to do it. He asked if I could send them out for him. Working after hours, I was able to send out about fifty Christmas cards on time, and relieved some of the holiday stress, allowing him to use his time handling other pressing matters.

Probably the biggest industry myth about our business is that it doesn't matter if you send out Thank You Cards or Birthday Cards. Not true! Recently, one of my clients expressed to me how hurt she was that she didn't get a thank you card once from a CPA that she referred five new clients to last year. She said she was apprehensive about referring any more to her because of the reflection that this behavior probably carried over to the people she referred.
About Us
Client Keepers is a family owned business located in Hampton, Virginia. Jane Williams, the president, was raised in Hampton, but moved to Northern California in 1970 after she received her Bachelor of Arts from Howard University, majoring in Accounting. She has three successful daughters, and eight grandchildren. Before starting Client Keepers, Jane's careers have included being a housewife, an accountant, loan officer assistant, and a real estate broker. On December 19,1998 she retired early and moved from her home in California to Hampton to care for her elderly mother.Since returning to Virginia, Jane has been actively involved in counseling teenagers in Virginia through an on-line pregnancy referral network. She has also been a member of the Women's Christian Networking Organization, helping young women improve their lives. Currently, Jane is a board member of Set Free Ministries, an organization that visits and counsels inmates at the Newport News jail. Jane's hobbies and activities are computer scrabble, grandchildren, swimming, and writing poetry.
